Terms and Conditions

A 1/3 deposit is required to reserve a cottage. Balance is due upon arrival. Currently, we only accept personal cheques or cash.

A cleaning deposit of $75.00 will be applied to each cottage rental, and is fully refundable at departure, when the cottage is cleaned to acceptable standards. If unable or unwilling to care for, and clean the cottage, loss of cleaning deposit is agreed to.

Pets are allowed only with prior approval. Pets must not become a hindrance to other guest’s enjoyment of Jacknife Cottages. Dogs must be supervised and on lead at all times, no incessant barking, and owner agrees to scoop the poop. A $75.00 pet deposit will be applied to all approved pet owners, which is refundable at departure, upon inspection of the cottage and the grounds. Zero tolerance is in effect and all pet owners agree to loss of deposit and removal of pet at management’s discretion.

Guests must be courteous and considerate of fellow cottagers. Jacknife Cottages reserves the right to immediately remove any guest who is in breach of these terms and conditions. No refund of fees will apply.

With prior approval, a maximum of one additional guest per cottage may be included at a $25/day or $100/week additional charge.
